Midwest Bank Sponsors $3 for 3 Pointers at Deshler Public School

DESHLER, NE - This past basketball season Midwest Bank sponsored a $3 for 3-pointers program for the Deshler Public School. For each 3-pointer made by either a boy’s or girls’ team $3 was donated to the Deshler High School Athletic Department. This is the ninth year in a row Midwest Bank sponsored the program.

The junior high girls made one 3-point shot during the season, the JV girls made 25 shots and the varsity girls made 114 3-point shots for a total of 140 3-point shots made by the girls raising $420 for the school.  The boy’s junior high teams made nineteen 3-point shots and the JV boys made 63 3-point shots. The boys’ varsity team made 117 3-point shots and overall the boy’s teams completed 199 3-point shots and raised $597.

A total of 339 3-point shots were made and Midwest Bank donated $1,017 to the Deshler High School Athletic Department. The nine year total raised for the athletic department is $6,000.
