Steven Petersen Named Mortgage Loan Officer

NORFOLK, NE - Midwest Bank’s Norfolk location has announced the promotion of Steven Petersen to Mortgage Loan Officer.

Steven Petersen started his career at Midwest Bank in January of 2017 with 4 years of experience in mortgage loan processing and retail banking. A graduate of Stanton High School, Steven received a degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Nebraska -Lincoln.

In his new role, Steven will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships for Midwest Bank with local real estate firms, attorneys and home builders, as well as growing and developing the banks’ residential mortgage business by originating mortgage loans.

“The community-focused culture that Midwest Bank values is something that I have really enjoyed becoming familiar with,” added Steven. “I look forward to growing my career here and developing relationships with people in the area.”

Steven and his fiancé, Casandra, currently reside in Battle Creek.
